1808 Foundation & Group86 would like to invite you to a CHARITY WINTER WALK that will extend a hand of support to our less fortunate communities in Soweto – for this leg of the walk particularly Kliptown.
The objective of the movement is to encourage cultural and social development amongst youth in South Africa today in order to curb poverty and illiteracy. The movement challenges the youth to be active in their own development and the development of their communities to ensure a progressive people and intelligent future for all.
WE ARE THE NOW, WE ARE THE FUTURE, AND WE ARE TOMORROW’S GREATEST LEADERS.
The Charity Winter Walk Details:
Time: 09h00 – 14h00
Place: Walter Sisulu Square Kliptown
Activities: Distribution of parcels in Kliptown (11h00)
Entertainment: Showcase of music and dance from local youth talent and youth information
exchange.
The Charity Winter Walk will be supported and attended by our favorite local Hip-Hop artists and entertainers such as Amu, Pro-Kid, Brickz, Slikour, Jobe Snamadi and Miss Soweto, Mangali Ngcobo and more.
PLEASE BRING CLOTHING ITEMS preferably winter gear and NON-PERISHABLE FOODS e.g. canned food, maize meal, rice, samp, wash powder, soap, tooth paste, peanut butter ect.
It is a 10 MINUTES WALK, & your contribution will be highly appreciated.
WE WILL GLADLY COLLECT ANY DONATIONS IF IN BULK or you could be dropped off at the below address.
