We are searching South Africa for talent! Join The Online Music Search – South Africa competition now for your shot at fame! Entry is free of charge and open to amateurs & professional musicians alike. We invite all solo artists, vocalists, bands and other producers of music to compete & showcase their material by entering their original audio track. Go ahead and take your shot at fame!

COMPETITION SCHEDULE

• Competition commences: Wednesday, 12th June 2013 – 10:00 AM (SAST)
• Entries close: Monday, 8th July 2013 – 10:00 AM (SAST)
• Finals top 10 commences: Wednesday, 10th July 2013- 10:00 AM (SAST)
• Winner announced: Wednesday, 17th July 2013 - 10:00 am (SAST)

COMPETITION PROCESS

VOTING & TRACK POINTS

Each round consists of 5 slots per round. The competing track is then voted from 1-5 stars within a 48 hour time period. Based on the position you finish in a round your participating track will gain the following track points:

COMPETITION OFFICIAL RULES

Countries allowed to participate: South Africa
Genres allowed to participate: Any Genre

RULES

• Artists MUST be residents of South Africa.
• Any Genre can participate;
• All contestants are limited to no more than one (1) entry track / round.
• Contestants MUST be over the age of 13.
• Competition rules are final.
• Lip syncing and overdubs are not permitted.
• Tracks entered must be the work of the contestants and the contestant warrants that the track submitted does not violate any copyright or other IP.
• Groups or bands must have not more than 5 members and only one member can claim the first prize for the group/band.
