A theme for those who love something unique and creative, created by Template Trackers

This weekend we prepare to go to the polls to elect our municipal government and make a decision on who will best serve our communities. I urge all of  you out there in the hip hop world to go out in numbers to make a change where its needed and retain stability where potential is steadily growing.

We all have a responsibility to the blood entrenched in the soil where the first seed of freedom was planted and to uphold a legacy of a brave society that injured a harsh history to afford us this opportunity.

Lets show gratitude and salute our hero's such as Steven Bantu Biko, Albert Lithuli, Gorven Mbeki, Joe Slovo, OR Thambo, Chris Hanni and all the fallen that paved the way.

Here are more details if you did not have them already

Municipal Elections

Municipal elections take place every five years.
A mixed or hybrid system, making use of both the ward system and the proportional representation (PR) system, is used for municipal elections.
The first democratic municipal elections took place in 1995/6, and the first municipal elections run by the IEC took place in 2000
